An initial consultation with our firm prior to purchasing
a home site could avoid many potential difficulties
and unnecessary expenses in the construction of your
home.
Issues such as
1. Orientation of the site
2. Excessive slope of the site
3. Building envelopes restricting the size and location
of your home.
4. Town planning restrictions affecting materials
and Style
should be discussed, and their impact clearly understood
prior to purchase.
Our firm can carry out a concept drawing of your
new home and investigate all relevant factors listed
above and offer an opinion of cost for the construction
of the residence.
The concept drawing incorporates:
 |
A proposed floor plan |
| |
|
 |
A 3D view of the proposal |
| |
|
 |
An opinion of cost |
After the concept drawing, the Client has the option
to move onto the Architectural services listed below.

including some cost options

selection of materials, fittings etc. and associated

Drawing.

the following:
-
Measurement of existing conditions
-
Proposed floor plan
-
3D view of addition and extension
-
Opinion of cost
-
Review of RESCODE requirements
such as Overshadowing and Overlooking in relation
to the proposed renovations

Many of our projects begin as a Concept
Drawing. This generally involves a site meeting and
discussion regarding the Client's brief for the project.
We will then advise whether other options should be
considered and whether the brief is achievable with
the Clients' budget.
Within a few weeks the concept is prepared and submitted
to the Client.
This normally consists of:
 |
a measured drawing
of the existing residence |
| |
|
 |
a proposed floor plan |
| |
|
 |
a 3D view of the proposal |
| |
|
 |
an opinion of cost |
